That's because they don't like President Trump and his approach to the military industrial complex. Without wars what are General's needed for? It's a much longer topic than a short post on RP. It's not because he's a terrible leader either. Those that have worked for him from the beginning say he's an excellent leader and don't have very favorable things to say about some Generals who thought they were going to run the show. IMHO, their endorsement means nothing, if anything at all.

From a military angle, Trump is the first President in my memory (maybe Carter?) that hasn't gotten us involved in a new miscellaneous conflict somewhere.
For that, he is to be commended.
