Perspective: Safeguarding the Second Amendment

While I tend to agree with this editorial/campaign piece, I must speak to the Authors beliefs on the 2A. The 2A does not "give" Americans the right to "Keep and Bear Arms". What it in fact does is enumerate the Right as Unalienable and speaks to Congress/Government on the topic that they can not interfere with said Right. Until our Representatives understand this point clearly, we're fighting an uphill conflict.
