Great history that should be mandatory teaching early. I hate giving this a thumbs up, but it is a necessary lesson. So many people knew- so many nations- and turned a blind eye. What a terrible fate for those individuals.

Maj Marty Hogan It is required that we teach the Holocaust in 8th Grade Language arts and Social Studies here in Florida. I have taught the Diary of Anne Frank, Night by Elie Wiesel, and other texts when I taught English at that level. You are absolutely right, and we do need to teach it early. I try to expose students to texts that will help them see the benefits of tolerance and teamwork.
