So the title on your Jeep, Chevrolet, Ford or Dodge is a key for the prosecution to use against you if you hit someone, because you did it intentionally? Will the warranty card on your Ginsu Knives be used to file charges against you if you stab someone with them? Should The sporting goods store have a waiver of liability if you use your Louisville Slugger and it's "Swing for the Fences" Logo to beat someone to death. Should you be allowed to sue Omaha Steak Company or Famous Dave's Barbecue House when your cholesterol reaches 300 and you drop dead because you saw a,"Beef, it's what's for dinner!" commercial? When does an individual take responsibility for his or her own actions? Survivors and families of victims of Car, knife, baseball bat and Beef violence should have an avenue to seek a form of redress for the damage done—but we first need to treat the source of all violence in our communities, not just the symptoms.

We don't need gun reform what we need is for giving us the ability to protect ourselves and our families against all those that would deny us our freedoms and those that would do us harm.
