Beautiful Song Share SGT Steve McFarland! Such a beautiful place! I camped in the Everglades during Christmas break of my Junior year of college. Spent part of summer of Freshmen year working in Cherokee. Awesome Native Americans with a beautiful deep-rooted connection to their land and such an horrific story of “the trail of tears”! That song reminded me of sitting on a mountain with Full Blood Cherokee Indians and learning their history and they shared their music and taught my girlfriend and I their Friendship dance! It was extremely powerful and I was Honored to be considered a ‘friend’! Thanks for the Share and bringing back beautiful memories!

Sadly, there weren't just trails of tears, there were trails of blood when the Native American peoples were driven out of their ancestral lands.
