Prosecutors reject Flynn claims ahead of sentencing

I think a guilty plea is a guilty plea. If he didn't think he was guilty, he shouldn't have pled.
Now if there is evidence of whatever, they can present it at the sentencing phase or hypothetically as part of a commutation or pardon packet, but I think LTG Flynn made his bed here.

I don't claim to be in General Flynn's head. Nor do I know if this is true or not, but I have heard some pundits advance a theory that General Flynn plead guilty because there was some potential that his son would be put through a legal wringer and a public kangaroo court.

I can can only say I'd plead guilty to killing President Lincoln and Arch-Duke Franz Ferdinand if it would save my daughter from ruin she did not deserve. If she did deserve it, so be it.
