I left. I don't regret it. It's a free country (at least for now) and you can't make people remain residents of a state they don't want to live in.

My son and his wife live there, and for the most part, enjoy all that it is available there. They do not like the congestion, so they are co-owners of a peaceful cabin in Vermont. I would never choose to live in NYC.
