Good morning my RP Family. It is another glorious day to be alive. Guilt can ruin your life. Acknowledging you sin can eliminate the feeling of guilt. Try doing it, you may like the results. If we keep doing what we know is wrong, it becomes even easier to to repeat the offense. The guilt then will lead to shame. We may be able to hide our sin from others, but do not be mistaken in believing that we can hide it from God. Our forgiveness is already there, we only need contrition and repentance to have that forgiveness to envelope us and to relieve the guilt. Have a blessed day today and always.

Overcoming Guilt
December 17, 2015FaithSeparation, Shame & Guilt
Bible Summary. When you are in sin you can hide your sin from others, but you cannot hide it from God. You cannot overcome your guilt by hiding your sin from God. To overcome guilt you must first be conscience of your sin, then confess your sins to God, and lastly provide a sin offering to God. The trouble with guilt is that you cannot hide from it, you cannot pretend that it is not there, and you definitely cannot hide your guilt from God. It seems simple to say, but you cannot overcome guilt if you continue to take pleasure in what you know is wrong. See below for Biblical advice.
Overcoming Guilt and Shame
The Birth of Shame
The Wrong Way to Overcome Guilt.
The way that Adam and Eve tried to address their guilt is an example of a wrong way to overcome guilt. Adam and Eve definitely experienced shame, but they did not really comprehend their guilt until God pointed it out to them and banished them from the Garden of Eden. When you are in sin you can hide your sin from others, but you cannot hide it from God. Genesis 3:10 tells how Adam and Eve went about overcoming guilt in the wrong way.
Genesis 3:10, “And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
The Right Way to Overcome Guilt.
Leviticus 5:5-6 advises us of a three-step process to overcome guilt. First, you need to be conscious of the guilt. The second step is to confess your sins to God. The third step is to provide a sin offering to God. Leviticus 5:5 advises us on the right way to overcome guilt.
Leviticus 5:5, “when he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed,”
Acknowledge Your Sin to Overcome Guilt.
Overcoming guilt starts with acknowledging our sin. The trouble with guilt is that you cannot hide from it, you cannot pretend that it is not there, and you definitely cannot hide your guilt from God. 1st John 1:8 advises us that if we deny our sin, the truth is not in us.
1st John 1:8, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
You Can Not Overcome Your Guilt if You Continue to Take Pleasure in Your Sin.
It seems simple to say, but you cannot overcome guilt if you continue to take pleasure in what you know is wrong. If we continue in our sin, we will eventually receive the reward of unrighteousness which is eternal death and separation from God. 2nd Peter 2:13 advises us on the consequences of continuing to take pleasure in our sins.
2nd Peter 2:13, “And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you.”

I pray that you and I freely confess when prompted to and freely accept apologies and confessions of guilt to us; and that we each freely and completely forgive trespasses against us since we have been forgiven by God, my friend and brother-in-Christ PO1 H Gene Lawrence and sister-in-Christ Linda Lawrence.
YOU loved each of us before creation. YOU justify each of YOUR own after regenerating our soul so that we recognize our desperate need for salvation.
I lift those grieving and those burdened with real or imagined guilt to YOU. Bless each grieving widow, widower, family member and friend with assurance of YOUR love, perfect justice, and perfect mercy. I pray that YOU open the eyes of those who feel guilty to YOUR unqualified forgiveness.
I lift the elected members of U.S. House of Representatives and their staff members to YOU. I pray that YOU bless each with wisdom. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the LORD. I pray that truth will prevail in the hearings and that each one testifying will be treated with respect and courtesy.
I pray that YOU bless parents and teachers throughout this land with wisdom and grace to teach the children by example. I pray they and we demonstrate apologizing, thankfulness, repentance from bad behavior, asking for help to change behavior, and forgiveness when requested.
I pray that spouses talk openly and do not go to bed angry. Help us to bare our soul to our spouse and deliver us from every desire for vengeance.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well tonight.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Excellent Bible share. Some times guilt is feeling guilty, yet you know you didnt cause it. Example my sewer broke, AC broke, pump and .motor, and I just bought the home 5 months ago. I feel guilty our savings drained and my autistic daughter and are eating quinoa, water, veges. Small servings to make it last. I should have somehow did things different. I feel guilty depressed sad in what should be the happiest time of my life. My 1st home. O screwed up.

Good morning COL. "Overcoming Guilt".......
Guilt...That ship has sailed...!
Pretty much everything I do has a task and a purpose, by plan.....no guilt
Sometimes I feel bad the way things turn out but that is life....
My one guilt in life is that I did not look out for my older Brother as much as I should and he got in with the wrong crowd later in life 40+ and I should have stepped in and do what I do best....
Make bad things go away....For good. Now there is nothing I can do for him as he is waiting for me on the other side.....I do have the names of all those people...Bucket list!
That is one guilt that I have to live with til we meet again......
Good morning to your Ladies, Rock The Day Brother.....
