Personally I don’t need anything to keep count when I pray the Rosary. I am partial to the traditional Rosary given the place and the time. I can see how this can appeal to some. I realize you probably posted this to mock Catholics, but thanks. :)

SSG Brian Hatcher - Sorry to get back to you late, the last day or so has been a bear. Basically, the Rosary, it is a series of prayers when we think of different things in our faith. The prayers are in numbered sequense and we think of different times depending on where we are in the sequence. Without getting nutty that’s the best I can say. Looking at your questions again, besides what the Rosary actually is, us Catholics believe in the positive power of prayer, that is prayer will have a positive influence in the world.

SSG Brian Hatcher I always mistype when I type with my fat fingers on this phone. I do a lot better when I’m on my desktop. :)

Unbelievable! I am an old fashion Roman Catholic and I have my late grandmother’s Rosary! She ‘read’ her beads so often, the actual beads are no longer faceted, they are smooth from her constant use. That was her solution for Everything! She taught me a lot of life lessons, we were extremely close and I carried around her rosary ALL Day. I can feel her in her Rosary! Wouldn’t trade them for the world and I am too old fashioned to go high tech! However, this was a great share!
