I agree with you. I has become a weapon. Propaganda.
They act as if they've taken the required votes after presenting strong evidence. It hasn't happened however, since the majority of the people don't know and understand the process they believe it's all real.

Basically, Our forefathers created a process to remove a president under certain conditions, but now the conditions have been altered by the Liberal Democrats, i.e. no vote by all members of the House of Representatives to impeach... Whistleblower(s) that seemingly don't exist, Adam Schiff's lying to congress about the contents of the President's Ukraine Transcript...and the list goes on... There have only been a few impeachments and none were impeached fully...and were allowed to complete their terms...

The impeachment process was not doomed from the beginning, but it was made difficult by our forefathers to impeach a president,on purpose, for the very reasons we have the problem today... Ask yourself why the Democrat Representatives will not bring the Impeachment Inquiry to a vote...on the floor of the Congress... The reason is that it has political ramifications to the Democrats who are running in swing states in 2020... And even if voted, the rule of law states that the President has the right to due process and the Dems do not want that... Further, even if the President was impeached by the House, it has to go to the Senate for trial and the law requires that two thirds of the Senate must vote to impeach a President... and that is not likely to happen...That is it in a nutshell... The whole issue has become a sham in my view.
