I boxed for 3 years, can't understand how he got beat so bad, and no one stopped the match. Sad, but it is a tough sport.

His trainer stopped the fight in the 11th round. After the fight the trainer gave an interview explaining why he stopped the fight. There's even a video where the trainer begs Max to let him stop the fight. It was just too late. Tragic.
