Every dorm/barracks has "the hoarder" who has to be forced to clean up his or her room because it looks like a superfund disaster site.

During many interviews w/ combat vets dating back to Korea, here is what I'm learning:
Marines feel they are the elite force. They do tolerate the Navy, in part, because of the Navy Seals. They consider the Army to be "wannabe" Marines but recognize they are not good enough. as far as the AF we are the 'boy scouts" except our combat pilots. All regard our barracks and other facilities as top grade, including our meals!
From a second vantage point: If you have never served in the military, you ain't shit; If you have never served in the Marines, you ain't shit; and if you never served in combat, you ain't shit!
