I give it a chance for people in the pharmaceutical industry to explain this article. Congresswoman Cortez has a good point. The other day, I was discussing the healthcare plans with a major in my Brigade in the US versus Canada and he was blaming the insurance companies. People can blame insurance companies though insurance companies have to invest and prepare for future losses and they keep track of Trends and if you have medicines like this that are probably a rip off here in the USA, then you can't blame the insurance companies for everything. Look what happened recently where they change the law where the DEA couldn't go after doctors who over prescribed opioids because those DEA attorneys went to go work for the pharmaceutical company and they convinced lawmakers to change the law making it almost impossible for the DEA to arrest and pull the licenses of crooked doctors. I have said in the past that law firms making 50% of a lawsuit, doctors who charge way too much and pharmaceuticals who play games like this with people's lives are a contributing factor of why the Obama plan will never work in the USA. I may not agree with congresswoman Cortez on her green new bad deal which is already ruining Canada with their socialist ideas but I can't agree with her about the high interest rates on credit cards and these expensive overpriced medicines. Once you can control the law industry, the Pharmaceuticals and the doctors, then prices can stay close to the level of inflation instead of going up like Elon Musk rocket.
