I loved every one of the movies that she was in - her voice was fantastic. May she rest in peace.

May she rest in peace, Lt Col Charlie Brown. Over the years, I think I've seen almost every movie in which she appeared.

Lt Col Charlie Brown, Doris Day owned a hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea called the Cypress Inn. We never stayed there, but did tour it once. It's quite beautiful and historic, and is pet friendly, which was what Doris Day was all about in later life.
