To many veterans keep he trauma that they experience to themselves. They self-medicate with alcohol and illegal drugs in an attempt to bury the pain. Most have "survivor's guilt" and cannot deal with that by themselves. I know this first hand and it reached a point where I sought help. I had thoughts of suicide and had such anger issues at the whole world, I almost self destructed. Now is the time to act and seek help from a counselor or psychologist that deals exclusively with PTSD.
I encourage every one of the veterans to seek help for these deep seated problems. I know they will benefit as I did.
