We don't refer to Washington, Oregon, and California as the "Left Coast" for nothing...

I was last in San Francisco almost 3 years ago. My wife and I noticed homeless camping in Golden Gate Park, and also in Alamo Square, by the Painted Ladies. That area has also been shown to be where vehicle break-ins have been frequent.
I'm beginning to think our annual frequency of visiting the "city by the bay" was broken by that observation of homeless in the parks, and seeing brazen crime has taken San Francisco off the list of places to go.
