I am not supporting Argentina's war against the British in the Falkland Islands. I just thought it was cool to see how the Argentine Navy was able to use its limited forces to inflict maximum damage to the British. I'm glad the British won the battle and won the war. Obscure aviation history. Back in 1982, I had to catch this on late night TV because it wasn't discussed that much. The Argentine Army was a joke but the Argentine aviators did an excellent job with limited resources they had. The French aircraft used by the Argentine Navy are discussed in this video.

An interesting aspect is that the Argentinians were largely armed by the British. So when British radar picked up Argentinian Exocets inbound, early warning radar classified it as "friendly." Once the British figured that out and "turned it off," Argentinian successes, tailed off.

Two ships were sunk. The chaff from the aircraft carrier confused the missile on the 2nd attacks but it still found that Logistics ship and took it out
