PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I had a hard time giving this one an upvote. I always liked the USAF and the USN "Bucket Hat". I never cared that it was a female item. It looked JUST PLAIN SHARP! My wife wore the USAF one and so did some of my first actual supervisors who knew how to LEAD. I suppose since there is no difference between a man and a woman today, and all uniforms are EXACTLY the same, we need to retire the maternity uniform because it singles a woman out as not being a male service member. While we are are at it, we need to either ease the male fitness standards or make the current ones the standard for all. Now, I am not serious about either of those. However, let's acknowledge that there IS a difference between the sexes and for Christ's sake, dont we have more important issues in our military than a uniform item that by itself is one of the sharpest ones that was left in the U.S. military?

Boo! I always liked the distinctive female cover. Men and women are different. We need to stop trying to force them to be exactly the same.
