Since you made this point, I have a question....In VA you are TRULY able to open carry. If I could fit a 777 on my back and walk with it, no one can say anything besides "nice howitzer"? Now if I wanted to carry my LAW in my pocket, I have to have my Concealed Carry Permit. Now I'm GTG, and show it if requested. VA is a purple state.

Now I live in FL a state that wants to think it's deep red, but it's really a deep purple. Here there is NO open carry, and to conceal carry you have to have your concealed permit. Why does it seem the states who tout the most "unrestrictive" gun laws are almost as bad as CA? Why is it I had more "freedom" up north than in a state that claims more firearm freedom? I've heard TX is the same, but loosening up the restrictions.
