The rank color rules make no sense. Bet they get amended.

The Army uses brown for subdued 2lt and major, all others are black

Security Forces have their Patrol Caps ‘lowered’? Wow, what a fashion statement. Eons ago, tailor shops at Ft Carson would only narrow trouser legs to ? 17” in width.
