"The person who is “accused of taking Mollie’s life is no more a reflection of the Hispanic community as white supremacists are of all white people. To suggest otherwise is a lie,” Tibbetts wrote. It's a shame when anyone uses a death to gin up votes for a cause, especially one that isn't liked by his own party. I'm glad the father spoke up on this directly after other family members spoke up telling folks to stop a week ago.

At first, I thought you were disgusting way the left used McCain’s death to demean the president. (OK, sarcasm off) I read all the reports on ICE removals of illegals that have committed crimes, here or in their home country. Had they been able to deport this POS, that same father would have his daughter. It’s amazing that anyone, especially the father, would chastise the president while excusing the action that led to her death.

MCPO Roger Collins I’m not speaking from a political space. Just one of someone who would honestly be upset if I asked for this to be done to respect my families wishes and you refuse. Kind of like Hannity and the DNC staffer when the family directly asked him to stop and he wouldn’t until the family put the heat on Fox itself. When the people ask to stop, it’s not hard to stop.

Just bc they believe in an ideology or cause does not make them right. An individual was not supposed to be in the country. That one act had an effect. It's not difficult from a unsecure gun on a bed with a toddler in the room. There are consequences for actions and inaction.

SSG Warren Swan Again, that's your interpretation of events. Another perspective may be of an elected official has the responsibility to protect the citizens. We are constantly reminded by one specific political cult that guns are unsafe and unnecessary. They often cite we should tighten regulations or curtail gun ownership if we could be save one life. Well that coin has two sides and another political party is playing its hand. If we could secure our borders and maybe just maybe save one life. It's just now that you don't like politics being played. Well, that's the game.

Having an autograph session with the families of dead people who were killed on the border isn’t defending anything or anyone. There are more effective and professional means to get this done. Nothing wrong with securing the border. Something is wrong when you use cheap shock jock style tweeting to push a false narrative. It’s not like Jr will be doing a damn thing down there anyways. CDR Dan Cunningham I think it's deeper. The real point is how do we respect life. One side believes in respecting an individual's poor decision making ability by snuffing out an innocent life. That's one interpretation of respect for life. The other political party believes in enforcing the freedom and liberty bestowed upon the individual by our Creator to be the best person we can be.
