PO3 Bob McCord Ya, kind of agree. My first real exposure to CNN was when I was CAT Chief for Ernest Will escorts of oil tankers through the Persian Gulf in the 80s. We would be sitting in the COC in Tampa and watching CNN reports and frequently live shots of the operations we were directing. Pretty impressive news reporting back then.
