The F-15 is a great platform and versatile.
I would like to see the new F-22 and F-35 series refined for the obvious problems they have. But I do like the overall concept of the role they are trying to achieve. They are just not there yet and I believe it is smart to call for more F-15 series until they iron out the stealthy jets.

Battle tested and proven airframe that can still kick butt...make improvements in avionics and let's rock...crap can the F-35...cut our losses while we still can.

From reading the works of the late great Robert F. Dorr (aviation history author and former columnist for Air Force Times), the F/A-22 is far superior to the F-35.
