History of now example from not too long ago. Remember how Mitt Romney was roasted by the One for his beliefs on Russia. But now the Democrats and their MSM are completely drinking the borscht on just how evil Russia has become. (Also note how HRC has not returned the 145 million dollar donation or Bill Clinton returned the 500k he received from a Russian source).

Susan Foster - As for your question on if HRC had won.... I have an issue with the entire context of the FBI investigation on a political candidate during an election. Why? There is an appearance of the FBI treating the two candidates differently. Now if the FBI had identical investigations on both candidates then I'd agree. But the FBI placed informants into the political opposition party's campaign. Had the FBI approached the Trump campaign and discussed the concern and then added in cyber security experts then I'd agree. But they did not. They put informants inside the campaign and then began to plant stories. This is how a set up starts. Then information is used to get a FISA warrant? Why go to that extreme? Because of the access it provides. So, the data points show an abuse of Presidential power by the Obama Admin. Lets see if Mr. Trump places informants into his contenders campaign and watch heads explode. All Trump has to do is say possible Russia meddling and I'm pretty sure the Left will give him a pass to conduct surveillance on his rival.

Susan Foster what is meddling? Is this the first time another nation conducted an information operation in America. If you are so opposed to to Russian interference then where is the equal outrage when Obama's State Dept interfered directly in an Israeli election. Why the Double Standard?

Well as somebody very familiar with international relations since 1917 when the USSR was formed and our involvement in the USSR in the 1920s on the side of the White Russians.
Every Russian schoolchild learns that well as our support in lend lease, the race to the Elbe River in Germany in May 1945 by USSR and its allies and USA, UK and the western allies.
Russia has worked with us on many issues from the international space station to combatting militant Islam fundamentalists in the Southwest Asia region as well as Chechnya and South Dagestan.
Our left-leaning media tends to focus on where we differ with Russia - Ukraine, Iran, deployment of missiles to eastern Europe by us, the Mueller probe into the 2016 election [which ignores HRC's team efforts to ostracize her democrat opponent who stood for real change; etc..

It is telling that politicians are behaving as they are wont to do to puff themselves up over a press conference which is the place where public statements are made - generally non-substantive and congratulatory to varying degrees. Establishment politicians on both sides of the aisle want to keep the status quo

Donald Trump like Bernie sanders ran as outsiders to mainstream Washington D.C. politics. Thankfully he is still working on doing what is best, incrementally, independent of the public comments of elected officials.

A. I am glad President Trump called a spade a spade and brought attention to the fact that the USA is culpable as well in fomenting bad relations. There are many in our nation who are still in shock that HRC was not elected in November 2016. She is not being openly investigated and yet the election is assumed to be corrupt because she lost handily.

B. President Trump is a world class negotiator. Hard ball will be played in the non-public discussions between the leaders of the two World Powers. It wasn't that long ago that North Korea has been encouraged to join the civilized nations. I expect major decisions in the closed door sessions which will be briefed in closed door sessions to the Senate and House and some may be released to the press and public.

3. President Trump and President Putin are both tough negotiators unlike former POTUS Obama who was inconsistent on foreign policy. Security is incredibly tight around the meeting of the two world leaders in Finland [where the Winter War was fought]. Economic, intelligence sharing, counter-terrorism, North Korea, China, trade, basing, tariffs, and many other international policy issues will potentially be discussed in detail during this meeting. I expect agreement on many and agreement to disagree on others. Our great grandchildren may be privy to the details but we won't be without a specific need-to-no.

I had to chuckle at the benighted title which would indicate that the staunch supporters of President Trump were opposed to the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
No surprise that those up for reelection and foes of President Trump within the republican establishment offered soundbite comments:
1. liberal "Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called the press conference a “missed opportunity” for Trump to hold Russia accountable for the attempted election interference."
2. maverick Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) skewered Trump for failing “to defend all that makes us who we are” as Americans.
3. outspoken critic of Trump Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), called the press conference “shameful.”
4. In 2016 Senator Ben Sasse announced that he would not support Republican front-runner Donald Trump should Trump become the party's candidate;
4. Those up for reelection - moderate Mitch McConnell, Jeff Flake, …

I am not sure who SSgt Stone is. Does anybody know him on this net. It is strange that he is calling the POTUS treasonous in a couple comments. I pointed out the text of the definition of treason in US Code 18 above.

SSG,
Roseinstine came out Friday before the meeting to tell everyone about the 12 Ruskies meddling in the election.
I suspect, General Kelly advised POTUS to not discuss an ongoing investigation with Putin.
Plus, Putin would just show how America has been interfering in name your place like everyone else.
The world system is currupt. I hope General Kelly and General Mattis have our countries interests on target dead center.
Over and out SSG.

If you’re referring to present time only, he’s still not reading his daily morning brief, he’s definitely not listening to Kelly, and Mattis keeps himself busy working the trenches with DOD issues. He also knows he’s the one person who can’t be fired. There would be hell to pay. Trumps own CIA. The new SECSTATE ram the CIA and was still in agreance that Russia had a hand in our elections. So if there is a group as you say, it’s the group he put in place. The FBI? I take that with a grain of salt. The FBI was all good when HRC was on the hot seat, and Trump wasn’t. He has good words for Comey until Comey lowered the boom on him and let him know the FBI was looking into his campaign due to questionable Russian influences. How do you explain away the IC telling him this is true? How do you explain currently when senior GOP leaders ala Growdt saying there is merit in this investigation and that it should continue? Are Groudy and Graham some deep state activists with a personal agenda contrary to what Trumps is? I’d expect this from Dems, but from your own party now? I’m speaking like you of now

Every president after leaving office writes his memoirs. Why should Obama be different? That makes no sense to think he shouldn’t be paid for it at that. Trump will write his too. He’s going to be paid handsomely for it, as he should.

Every president pushes an agenda.
If they didn’t they’re in the wrong job.
As far as the Clean Water Act, I’d have to research it, but with the water crisis in both Flint and California, it might not be a bad thing for the government to step in and get some important issues fixed. Trump touted a infrastructure plan, well having clean water for people is one of the most important if not THE most important item that needs to be tackled. In MI’s case the state level government has shown it cannot handle doing the right thing when you’re poor.
