Pentagon Slashes GI Bill Transfer Eligibility Window

How do you think it's wrong? The people this is affecting, those with over 16 years, have had over 10 years to transfer their GI Bill. The transfer is a tool to encourage retention period when it was introduced those who are still in the army and had too much time in to meet the 4-year obligation were waived. For 10 years the Army has made the opportunity available

In the Army we gave briefings every single quarter for years when it was introduced.

You are correct. Although this is the VA's page on it, it's pretty much the same for all the branches. You should check with your local ed ctr or your first line being I'm not sure if you're AD/R/NG and things could be slightly different with the components.
