It's sad, if not pathetic, in their attempt to throw anything at the wall and see what sticks, that some in the main stream media would sink this low and further reinforce the moniker of "Fake News."

It's truly amazing to watch the media go after this story. Of course, it's a shame that not all who enlist get to actually serve.
In regards to the doctoral candidate, you'll have to excuse me if I can't muster any empathy. If he can't pass the background check, oh well. There are quite a few would-be careers that ended before they started because of background issues.
