Thank you Lt Col Charlie Brown for making us aware that Iraq War veteran Darren Phillips was driving on the interstate when he came over a small hill and saw two men "wrestling around and fighting" — and there was no one else around.
As he got closer, he saw they were a Wyoming state trooper and a man who had been pulled over, KSL reported.
The veteran — now a trucker based out of Utah — then pulled off to the side of the road where the men were fighting May 31, near Green River, Wyoming, USA Today reported.
Once again a U.S. Marine saves the day all because he knew how to put on a Chokehold on Dustin Roberts. Roberts was charged with drug possession and interfering with a police officer. He is held on $125,000 bail.

"Darren Phillips who is an Iraqi War Vet, Utah National Guardsman, Trucker, and one of the good guys stepped up when he came across a Wyoming State Trooper in need. Phillips was driving his truck across Wyoming when he came upon a Wyoming state trooper wrestling with one Dustin Roberts from California. Phillips stopped his truck and got out to help the trooper. As he approached the trooper said Roberts was going for his gun so Phillips put a choke hold on Roberts and pulled him off the trooper and held him until helped arrived.
Roberts was charged with drug possession and interfering with a police officer. He is held on 125,ooo bail."
