Since my brother was killed by an illegal alien, I admit to be extremely biased.

I get wanting to have a better life, but do it correctly. If we choose to ignore immigration law because of skin color, country of origin, or whatever, then what laws do we citizens get to ignore without repercussions?

First off, I am sorry to hear that happened to your brother and I understand your biased.

Second, I too wish that they would come in the right way and be a full fledged citizen. However, when it comes to DACA, I throw my full support behind it. These were children brought to this country, and for some it's the only country they have ever known. I think a path to citizenship for those who have no criminal record and a proven track record of being a productive member of our society should be offered to them.

Now illegals with a criminal record are another matter. Kick em all to the curb.

DACA was created by an Executive order from Obama. He intentionally bypassed Congress, you know, the branch tasked with creating laws, including immigration laws. Oops, there I go again bringing up that pesky Constitution again. You know the one we swore to uphold and defend.

Since when does the judicial branch of government get to create laws? The whole DACA deal was created with a presidential memo, and it can be relegated to the dustbin by another memo, unless Congress does their job.

The former president admitted in 2011 that he couldn't 'just bypass Congress and change the (immigration) law myself. … That’s not how a democracy works.' One year later that's exactly what he did. I understand your comment, but can't believe that once an illegal program (not law) is established by the Executive branch, a following administration can't correct the illegal action by nullifying it - given the fact Congress has had plenty of time to act and did nothing.

Are you stating illegal immigration does not have an economic impact which is paid for by taxpayers?

No, I am stating that the problem is being blown out of proportion to fuel an agenda. I am also stating that there are also a fair share of American citizens sitting on their ass doing nothing collecting welfare when they could be working.

Cpl Tom Surdi - And to be truthful, must of these people sitting on their asses, taking welfare and many other government handouts are "whites". I know that will cause some to disqualify that statement because of my hue, but I have seen this first hand many, many times. I have neighbours right now who have told my wife that their children are on state subsidised healthcare. Yet my children are covered through my employers healthcare. And lets just say, these people are not poor, they have a new 2017 Tahoe, a 2017 Honda Accord, a 40ft boat, a 5th wheel RV, in ground pool, Cub Cadet riding mower, etc, etc,. In past years I've known people who got food stamps, who really didn't need them, but since it was there for taking, they took them. I have another neighbour who claims to have a bad back, and collects disability, but yet can ride a 4x4, through the woods, do yard work, and many other things they shouldn't be able to do with a bad back. Point is this, these government perks were available long long before those so called illegal aliens were on the radar as the reason. Many government handouts were given out to "whites" during the formation of the U.S.A so that they could own large amounts of land. No one is complaining about that. Corporations receive huge government tax breaks, grants, incentives, and on and on into the billions of dollars every year, and no one gets upset about that! The federal government's hand other countries billions of dollars in "Aid", yet no one cares. But we are constantly reminded via the T.V and media outlets about those "illegal aliens". Man this is all divide and conquer! Keep the masses fighting each other, while the real criminals get away with stealing untold amounts of money. All "borders" are imaginary lines anyway! Man doesn't own the earth! And you can't take it with you when you pass away.
