You raise a valid point SN Greg Wright We are not perfect and there are several people on here who have faithfully posted the death notices of other fallen servicemen. If you truly want to champion this cause, I will support you and others will do the same. You cannot look away from tragedy when it befalls those who risked it all for you. Keep posting! SN Greg Wright A1C Ian Williams While I tend to agree, if you are a flier this is the risk you accept every time you strap yourself into the cockpit. Would the feeling of not acknowledging this loss on RP be different if he was not part of the Thunderbirds? The loss of every soldier, sailor, airman or marine is tragic but I haven't seen every one of them mentioned on RP.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - My experience has been that every death that's posted to any of the *times.com military sites, Military.com, etc is reposted here. That he was a Thunderbird did not play into my factoring at all. If anything, it only made MSM's coverage of it larger than usual, but has no bearing on how I view his sacrifice relative to the lowliest of private's.

Rest in Peace. You were one of the best of our best. Thank you SN Greg Wright for posting this. I remember seeing it but we were in discussion over on FB, not RP.
