That is interesting CW5 Jack Cardwell. I remember in the early 1980s leading an infantry patrol in German wood with Tollwut signs indicating rabies.
The rabid raccoons which had been introduced to Germany shrieked like a banshee in their death throws. Needless to say nobody fell asleep on that patrol :-)
