I can't believe it has been 25 years since the World Trade Center bombing. I had two friend in the building at the time, and they described the ordeal in depth. It was horrific. COL Mikel J. I'm with you, hard to believe 25 years. Does point out that World Trade Center was a target long before 9/11 though.

I still remember thinking that the prosecutor was being foolishly arrogant for mocking the bombers as inept. That just seemed too much like a challenge for another group to take up.
Not to mention how close the bombers came to critically damaging the structural backbone of the north tower.

Hopefully, our country's Administration is examining any policy and infrastructure deficiencies that may be present since 911 (17 years ago, that still has us in a continuous war) that could have been shored up 25 years ago.
