Thanks CW5 Jack Cardwell for honoring USMC Marine who served two and a half years in the Pacific Theater during World War II Jonathan Harshman Winters III and later became American comedian, actor, author, and artist.

I well remembered Jonathan Winters in comic skits and more poignantly I remember him in the Hefty Trash Bag commercials of the 1970s. He was a class act.
