One of My fellow Cadets, at Bordentown Military Institute, Bordentwon, NJ. was talked into going to Syracuse University by Jim Brown. That same Cadet was visited and taken out to dinner by General Douglas MacArhtur to try and get Him to play at West Point. After that point Notre Dame had already announced He would be playing for them but He had then listened to Jim Brown and went to Syracuse. That Cadet was All American, All State All Prep and All Private and had His football jersey #44 retired at BMI That former Cadet was Floyd Douglas Little and He became an All American at Syracuse, then played for the Denver Broncos in the NFL and a few years back was elected to the NFL Hall of fame.
