Thanks TSgt Joe C. for letting us know that on February 16, 1848 Frédéric Chopin performed his final public performance in his adopted city of Paris, France before his death from tuberculosis at the age of 39,.
I grew up hearing the pieces of Chopin because my dad loved classical music.
