The quote by Gandhi should resonate for all- pay it forward each day. Great thoughts to start the day COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Paying it forward is such an easy way to help others or just simply help turn a bad day into a better day for someone

COL as is normally the case I could not agree more. Pre-accident I had no doubts about who and what I was. I was one of the fortunate ones in that I made the discovery pretty early in life. My post accident life is still a little up in the air but, I feel strongly I am on the right trail more or less hahaha

Jeff, I was a bit hard headed...still a bit stubborn..God sent me a stroke so that I could appreciate those around me more...yes, I thank God for the stroke. The stroke caused me to slow down enough to go inward, work my way out of a stressful existence. Through it, I learned the beauty of the lives around me and how to help them more. I pray he does the same for you. Affections and blessings, sir!

I remember back in one of my speech therapy sessions, I was asked the question why did I think this happened to me. I answered, simply for years because of my professions I had allowed myself to become a shitty husband and father. I felt I was given a second chance and plenty of time to make up for all the time I was such a good husband and father. Matter of fact I am going to go kiss my wife now, thanks.

Yes. I believe in those plans. I am a deeper and more sensitive person for it. I still strive for excellence in everything I do...as before, but I do my best to provide hope and understanding along the way. Thanks, Cynthia. You back yet?
