SGT (Join to see) Ronny Reagan got me a 13% Pay Raise (Shhh we Won't Talk about that the Retired Military didn't get an Equal Raise that Year and that the Money Had to be Stolen from Social Security) LOL!

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, I remember getting cost of living increases after I was I was on VA and SS disability. That stopped about 5 or 6 years later. I’d like to see those again for the disabled veterans. See what you can do. Ok?

Thanks for sharing my friend SGT (Join to see).
I am glad that under Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis the DoD "expects moderate and manageable increases in pay will continue in the near term and will match the growth in private-sector wages," the budget documents said.
I am also thankful and not surprised that President Donald "Trump said that when he told Mattis the amount of the military's share of the budget, Mattis replied: "Wow -- I can't believe we got everything we wanted."
"The defense budget request was part of the overall $4.4 trillion fiscal 2019 proposed budget for all government spending put forward Monday by Trump and the White House Office of Management and Budget.
His proposed budget "provides resources to enhance missile defense and to build the planes, tanks, warships, and cyber tools that the brave men and women who defend us need to deter aggression and, when necessary, to fight and win," Trump said at the White House.
"Most importantly, the budget provides funds to increase the size of our armed forces and to give our men and women in uniform a well-earned pay raise," he said.
The Trump budget would boost spending for infrastructure and border security along with the military while proposing politically difficult cuts to entitlement programs."

Sgt (Join to see), Ted,I’m elated things are going the way they are, finally, because our POTUS knows if our Military fails, our country fails. Also, he obviously loves our Military men and women.

SGT (Join to see) - I agree Keith. With potential trouble spots all over the world, it is good that our military is receiving some much needed attention.
