SGT (Join to see) I had actually heard that gun sales had increased because of this fear. This might be a fake news story.

MAJ Charles Blake - So was Trump, initially. There was a spike in gun sales after Trump won, when liberals were fearing literal jackboots in the streets under a Trump Presidency.

SSgt Christopher Brose - haha, no lib would ever buy a gun for self defense. That's what private security companies are for!

MAJ Charles Blake - No lib ever thought Trump was going to be President, either. His election shocked them out of their reality to a whole different reality (though to be honest, I have a hard time seriously characterizing it as "reality").

spending money/buying firearms for different reasons I bet. Previously out of fear/concern - now for pleasure and personal reasons. I'm in the market for a new pistol and finally going to buy one for competition.

SPC Mike Lake - That's the other thing. With the economy getting better and people having more money, some of that money is going to go to gun purchases. I know I'm likely to buy one.

If they seriously have an oversupply problem, I'd love a discount to help them out. It would be a win-win for both of us.
