Thanks SGT John " Mac " McConnell for sharing the early 1960's classic psychedelic rock tune of Green Tambourine performed by The Lemon Pipers.
I well remember that song which reminds me Inagaddadavida by Iron Butterfly. The band names of the 1970s were certainly interesting.
Psychedelic rock was an interesting sound or more accurately range of sounds which were designed to enhance the experience of LSD, Mescaline, Peyote, marijuana, etc.

Ah, remember it well as my 'garage band' played it as a part of our second set.
I always thought it had a very mellow sound to it and the lyrics were distinct - something not quite so common in the late sixties.
