The window, in the light of day,
Transparent and clear
Lets me see outside,
Shows me what's near.
Then, at night, when darkness comes,
I look out just the same
And see instead what's inside
For the window's now a mirror.
I need them both, those vantage points
To guide what I should be
Though as for that the mirror shows
What only I can see.
That's what came to mind this morning, sir, as I read your encouraging words.

When someone asks me about the "right thing to do" I often refer them to the mirror. Ever heard the phrase: make sure you can look at yourself in the morning? When you look in the mirror afterwards, which decision would you be proud of and which one would make you avoid looking? Usually, it is a pretty simple choice.
