Thanks TSgt Joe C. for letting us know that on January 22, 2010 comedian Conan O’Brien hosted his final episode of “The Tonight Show,” following an announcement by NBC earlier in the month that Jay Leno would return as the host of the long-running, late-night program. The decision to replace O’Brien was met with protests by his fans and became a public-relations debacle for the network.
Conan O'Brien's final "Tonight Show" aired Friday, and while much of it was funny and some was expensive, the show ended with heartfelt words from the long-time NBC host:

As much as I was NOT concerned with his leaving, his replacement made me want Conan back!

Competition is a bear. Thank you for the cool nostalgia TSgt Joe C.. But it will always be Johnny Carson and Joan Rivers for me.
