Today is: "Normality Day!" Why Not?
Quote in the Picture: "Normality is a paved road: It's confortable to walk, but no flowers grow." ― Vincent van Gogh
"I have always thought of “normal” as a good thing. In the context of life, people and things, it has always resonated a feeling of contentment within me.
But after thinking about the above quote by Van Gogh, it made me realize that sometimes it’s good to not have so much normality surrounding you.
Having elements in your life that are unique and different is like turning the pages of a good book.
You don’t quite know exactly what is coming next or how things end up, but you’re eager to find out.
There is beauty in stepping outside of your comfort zone and experiencing things that aren’t in your nature. It encourages growth within us. ― fp Jana

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - We have more in common than not! I had a 1983 FLH, same color as yours (candy-apple red) with all the chrome. I had to sell it as it had a large hysterectomy and cash was sparse at the time. I rode it for 105K miles from NC, to AZ, to SD, NM, AR, and finally to LA and other sundry places. Really loved that beast! I gave away all my leathers to a missionary that visited the wife and me frequently.
I'm happy to learn you're still keeping active and young in music. ♫

Good morning COL. Normal, Who defines normal? Everybody is "Normal" in their own way and some see that as not normal while others think it is right in line.....Perception of what is normal....that is the underlying question. This is what makes the World an interesting place....Everybody's "Normal" Have a great Saturday...We may get above zero static but wind chill today is headed for -22 degrees...!!!

Alan K. We all have our own idiosyncrasy, abilities, and disabilities that make us humans unique. Without those we wouldn't have inventors, writers, artist, and the list goes on. Each indivdual has their own DNA and Makeup when it comes to their individual normal. If they try to be something else they think is normal than I believe they lose out on their unique character. Just some deep thought this morning. Try to saty warm my friend!
