I looked through several command post discussions and then did a general search. I was dismayed that this community is unaware of the world wide awarded film “Served Like A Girl” which covers some pivotal true moments brilliantly in the lives of 4 primary real women who served. 1LT Sandy Annala SP5 Mark Kuzinski Col Dona Marie Iversen @Capt Marty Hogan, Molly Morrone SPC Margaret Higgins Rachel Leah Engler, Shown twice in DC and numerous prestigious film festivals, making Honorable Mention as one of the top 25 documentaries of 2017.

Maj Marty Hogan I provided the link to iTunes as a convenience. I saw it during a festival screening, the audience was silent, some quietly tearing, and of course a standing ovation which was more than warranted. I was more than honored to meet 2 of the women and the director.

Thanks for sharing Maj Kim Patterson as many of us know combat in military uniform or in the streets of our major cities occurs to men, women, boys, girls and babies whether they want it or not.
While some of us our well-skilled at maiming and killing in close combat many have no such desire or inclination.
Kudos to each who serves and has served in the Armed Forces of the USA.
In the VA medical facilities I have been treated at and the Military medical facilities my wife and I am treated at [Maryland, Virginia, DC and West Virginia] men and women veterans are each treated with respect, thankfully.
Tooth to tail is a metaphor which helps portray the fact that for every killer and combat organization there is an immense support system required to enable the operator to accomplish what needs to be done. Granted there is rarely enough on time, in right quantity, configuration, etc. :-)
