Opinion | Trump explains his tax bill as different strokes for different folks

Before he got elected, Trump was saying the market was going to crash.......now, I guess it's all good. He fixed it.

SSgt Gary Andrews - The market would have crashed if Hillary had won. What you saw the night of the election and the months that followed was a market that was gasping for air like it had been held under water. What you're seeing now is the market behaving like it knows there will be air to breath for the foreseeable future.

SSgt Christopher Brose - That market that was "gasping for air" tripled in value under Obama......my deferred comp grew fast enough that I was able to retire a couple of years earlier than I had planned. That was a nice "gasp". But I'm sure you believe Obama had nothing to do with that.....and Trump has everything to do with the market today. Believe what you want, Christopher......but the value of my deferred comp account and my early retirement were not fake news. At any rate......I always enjoy the back and forth with you, my Marine Corps friend, so I'll wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and best wished in the New Year. We'll do battle another time!
