Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that November 26 is the anniversary of the birth of American cartoonist best known for the comic strip Peanuts(which featured the characters Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and my favorite Pigpen) Charles Monroe Schulz.
His Peanuts comic strip was brilliant in capturing the angst, hopes and dreams of youth to adulthood in a few frames. later the Peanuts holiday specials were birthed which were also incredibly well done.
Rest in peace Charles Monroe Schulz!
I enjoyed the soft-jazz of Vince Guaraldi Trio which played background music in each of the holiday specials.
