Irma Rapidly Intensifies Into 115 MPH Category 3 Atlantic Hurricane

Yesterday Hurricane Irma was at a level 2...today it jumped to a level/category 3...and it's predicted by tonight or tomorrow it'll be at a level/category 4...and by the time it hits land it should be a category 5....this is WORSE than Harvey that just hit us in Texas.

The models show hurricane IRMA is just about on the same path has Hurricane Harvey...and has a great chance of hitting straight on Texas again....and Louisiana.

Irma is in the Atlantic and the latest projections from our meteorologists here in Houston that accurately predicted Harvey, have projected this to make a turn towards the north and not hit mainland US. There is Tropical Storm Jose off the Yucatan where Harvey came from, and it looks like it will skirt the coast. We have a strong front settling in over the coast that should keep it away from us. We swill still get a little rain from it, but nothing like what we just got walloped with...
