Thanks for sharing SSG Michael Hartsfield. Sad news for the Navy since this is the second collision with a commercial vessels which has been more hazardous for the Navy destroyer than the commercial vessel.
We know you don't support the POTUS. I am not surprised that you are being sarcastic it seems when the President states "That's too bad" when he learns about an apparently accidental collision. If there was somebody to blame casting blame would make sense.
Hopefully the 10 missing sailors will be found this morning since it occurred Monday morning across the dateline.

On the contrary, if he would have said something other than "That's too bad" I wouldn't have said anything about his comment BUT it's this almost dismissiveness shown by Trump toward anyone but him and his is what has me scratching my head when people still say that he's this "great man" and unwaveringly support him still.

SSG Michael Hartsfield - I expect you recognize that most of the conversation in the oval office and the lower levels of the White House is only available to those with a specific need to know.
For whatever reason the White House elected to release this "That's too bad."
The communication with the Ambassador to Singapore, CINCPAC, SEC NAV and SEC DEF has most likely been occurring since the incident was observed and reported in proper channels.

I agree with you, totally, that was an inane response but is that really what we want to focus on in the face of 10 missing Sailors and some ephemeral problem the Navy seems to have with training it's bridge crews?

LTC Orlando Illi - Is that you in the pic LTC? As far as the unforgiving sea, there is nothing truer. She does not allow for any slack...

LTC Orlando Illi - You folks are crazy bastards!!! I trained with the Marines, and I got scared doing a fastrope... Really glad we have brave people that do stuff like this...

Well I don't want to focus on Trump's asinine response either but if any other former president had made a similar statement we'd be criticizing that president also. So yeah, odd response from him; now lets get back to the incident and hope they find survivors.

How can anyone say anything bad about his comment! It's 100% accurate! Of course it's "too bad"!

A us warship is damaged and men are missing and "too bad" is his first reaction?.
All those folks work for him.
