Some one is always watching. RP is public and not "private" and we have a lot of members that post derogatory things about POTUS or their feeling on some subjects. This guy is not military, but see something like this happening to someone here eventually. Whether you think so or not- you military affiliation does limit some things. I will leave it to someone else to post the UCMJ reference- but using this to raise awareness and let's get back to real issues that need to be addressed.

Maj Marty Hogan when I first read "terminated," my initial thought was killed.
After reading the associated article. I learned that the Liberty Advisor Group fired principal Daniel Grilo because he tweeted "Sorry Owens' wife, you're not helping yourself or your husband's memory by standing there and clapping like an idiot. Trump just used you."
This tweet was in response to "Carryn Owens, whose husband, Navy SEAL William "Ryan" Owens, was killed during a January raid that targeted an al-Qaida stronghold in Yemen. Owens attended the president's speech and cried as Trump acknowledged her and the audience applauded."
I am glad that within a few minutes Grilo responded with an apology, although it was after a firestorm erupted on Twitter in response to his initial tweet.
In this day and age it is reasonable for a financial company to expect wise behavior form its principals. In this instance, I believe they exercised prudence in terminating Daniel Grilo.

LTC Stephen F. I always tell my kids/grandkids when you apologize if you wait until you get caught- you were sorry you were caught and not sorry you did it. I am not perfect either, but some things you just know are going to be stepping over the line.

If I had an account with that company I would have closed it had they not fired that guy. His comments were a terrible representation of that company.

Good I am happy to see someone currently serving bring this to the front. I served under a few Presidents that personally I had opinions but I never said anything and follow the orders of that President and the Officers appointed over me...

I have talked to countless service members (and families) at USO support events and at the lounge at Logan - some so far left they are hanging off of the horizon and some on the right hanging off the other - and they all support the Commander in Chief and their upper echelon, no matter what. Just keep that flag facing forward and march on.
