I vote for Simon and Garfunkel’s version. Disturbed did a decent job of singing it but it reminded me of Blue Swede’s cover of BJ Thomas’s Hooked on a Feeling: decent, but a bit slower with too many “ooga chakas” in it. OK, Disturbed didn’t have “ooga chakas” in it, but you know what I mean. I agree that you just can’t beat the harmonies in the original Sound of Slience.
