In the US we call them "loitering munitions" the US Army has developed a version and either has or considered a contract with an Israeli firm that makes them.
They've been around since at least the mid-90's in a purpose built form when IAI sold China the Harpy. Some of the names are Switchblade, Harpy, Harop, and the Hero-series.
