Veterans Corpses Found Rotting in Chicago VA's Morgue. Agency Makes Excuses.

Many American Veterans that pass are never claimed by family. This is extremely sad and tragic. There is an organization called The Missing in America Project that began in 2007. This organization in Arizona worked to get the state to make changes to allow non-family members to claim the remains of deceased Veterans.
I quote what they do
"The non-profit collects inventories of unclaimed remains from across the country and submits the information to a database linked to the Department of Veterans Affairs. If someone is identified as a veteran, the remains are turned over to the organization to coordinate a military burial with full honors".
I have donated to this cause and feel many of us can get involved so that our fellow American soldiers can be laid to rest properly.

There is no excuse for this!!!
